OUR COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY
At Arma Ship Supply, sustainability is not a corporate obligation — it is the foundation of how we operate. As one of Türkiye's most trusted ship supply companies with over 25 years of experience, we believe that delivering excellence at sea must go hand in hand with protecting the oceans, communities, and ecosystems that make maritime trade possible.
Our sustainability strategy is built on three interconnected pillars: environmental responsibility, social equity, and strong governance. Across every port we serve — from the Bosphorus and Dardanelles to major shipyard areas including Tuzla, Yalova, and Icdas — we are committed to minimizing our environmental footprint while maximizing the value we create for our customers, employees, and partners.
Certified under ISO 14001 Environmental Management standards, we have eliminated single-use plastics across all operational locations, reduced carbon emissions across our supply chain by 17% in 2024, and are actively transitioning toward a circular economy model. Our Supplier Code of Conduct sets clear expectations around environmental standards and ethical labor practices — and as of 2024, 64% of our active suppliers have formally committed to these principles. We are also aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 12, SDG 13, and SDG 14, which guide our long-term environmental targets.
Beyond the environment, sustainability at Arma Ship Supply means investing in people. We employ 186 people across Türkiye, with 55% female representation and a majority of women in senior management. As proud signatories of the UN Global Compact, we uphold its ten principles across human rights, labour standards, and anti-corruption — recording zero compliance violations in 2023.
Our commitment does not stop here. By 2028, we aim to source 100% of high-risk raw materials from verified sustainable suppliers. By 2030, we commit to reducing food waste by 50%. At Arma Ship Supply, we are optimized for you — and for the future.
